Processing & Crafting Timelines
Because Aktara combines ready-to-wear handlooms with made-to-measure bespoke couture, processing timelines vary by product category:
Dispatched within 24 to 48 business hours following quality steam-finishing and inspection.
Requires 5 to 10 working days for master patterning, hand-embroidery, and custom fitting.

As soon as your package leaves our Kolkata atelier, you will receive an automatic dispatch notification containing:

7-Day Return & Exchange Policy
We want you to be completely delighted with your Aktara handloom. We accept return and exchange requests initiated within 7 days of package delivery.
- The garment must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and without any fragrance or body marks.
- Original brand tags, folding seals, and protective packaging must be intact.
- Sarees with detached blouse pieces or fallen picot stitches are not eligible for standard returns.
Bespoke Tailoring Alteration Guarantee
Because bespoke tailored garments and stitched blouse cuts are sculpted specifically to individual client measurements, they cannot be returned for cash refunds.
However, we stand by our Perfect Fit Guarantee: we offer complimentary fitting adjustments and minor alterations within 14 days of delivery at our Kolkata atelier or via reverse pickup coordination.
Quality Inspection & Refund Timelines
Once your returned parcel reaches our central studio, our textile inspectors verify the tags and condition within 48 business hours. Upon approval:
Refund is initiated directly to your original payment mode (Card/UPI/Net Banking) within 5-7 working days.
