Welcome to Aktara (accessible at aktara.in). By accessing our website, browsing our collections, or placing orders for handcrafted Indian ethnic wear, bespoke tailoring, and accessories, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

These terms apply to all visitors, clients, registered users, and partners. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Aktara specializes in authentic handcrafted sarees, Jamdani, pure mulberry silks, designer kurtis, and couture ensembles. Because our garments are handwoven on pit-looms and hand-embroidered by artisans, subtle variations in texture, weave irregularities, and shade nuances are the intrinsic signatures of authentic handlooms rather than manufacturing flaws.

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit order quantities or discontinue individual designs based on yarn and weaving cycles.

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable GST unless specified otherwise. International shipping duties, customs fees, or local import taxes are the recipient's responsibility upon delivery.

We process transactions securely via certified payment gateways supporting UPI, major Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, and International Cards. Orders are verified and scheduled for weaving/dispatch only upon successful payment authorization.

For bespoke blouses, lehenga stitching, and custom kurtis, measurements must be provided accurately according to our measurement guide or in consultation with our stylists.

All content, imagery, logos, brand names, product photographs, videos, and graphics published on Aktara are the exclusive property of Aktara and protected under Indian and international intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial distribution without written consent is strictly prohibited.

Aktara shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from website downtime, carrier delivery delays, or force majeure events. Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
